The 21st World Men’s Handball Championship will take place from January 16 to February 1, 2009 in Croatia. Croatia was selected from a group of four potential hosts which included the Czech Republic, Greece and Romania.
Opening game and ceremony will be held in Split, and the final game in Zagreb.
